I would like to know if there is jobs for Canadian who is looking to go work oversea. Let say an average high school diploma with about 8 years of full time job in Security. Fluent english and french.
Please any help would be appreciated
Thank you
Are you white? If yes, then you are immensely qualified for any of the myriad positions available for English teachers in China.
Not legally, no
You need to at least get yourself a 2 year college program.
as a teacher - maybe legally no...
if You are highly qualified specialist, and some Chinese company (with good guanxi) will help You - maybe You can, as "expert" (prepare a dozen of certificates)
other way is to work for foreign company, that have some branch in China, being here on a business visa, for example training Chinese personell (then nobody ask about You skills or papers, as long as this company takes care about You).
but it is not so convenient, because of relatively short time of business visa (first time 1-3 months usually) - and need to renew it (in Your home country or HK), and usually 1 or 2 entry in visa period... so forget about weekend trips to Macau and HK )
Your job options will increase enormously if you get yourself a degree.
You need a degree.
It ain't anything special being able to speak both English and French. You either are going to have to look for one of the many English jobs, or really dig through and find a French teaching job.
You may find the more rare case of a school that employs both English and French teachers.
It's all about the degree for you.
