Q: My chinese gf said her mother needs 300000 rmb urgently.What to do?
My chinese gf called me yesterday and her family has a big problem and her mother needs 300 thousand rmb now.
I asked about the details and she said she can not explain. Later she told me that her mother rented a big place and did renovation work for an a place which will be a small hotel. She said her mother`s friends promised to give her 300 thousand rmb and then that friend changed her mind.Now she tell me that workers want their money.
Later that night she gave back my ipad that she borrowed for one day and i luckily found one open chinese web site to buy plane tickets to honkong which costs around 2400 rmb for around 5 days. I used google translate to find about the places since i cant read chinese.And when i clicked to back button and i saw another train ticket to nanchang which costs around 600 rmb.
I also managed to undo the tabs that she opened in the ipad and see other web site that she visited.
She was checking the web site of very expensive hotel in sanya which costs 7500 rmb for two night with private swimming pool.
Alarm bells started to ring.How the hell someone needs a lot of money for her mother will check expensive hotels and travel packages which are extremely expensive.
By the way the web sites that she checked really matches her profile since my gf doesnt work for 6 months and she wen to hongkong, singapore,macau with her rich friend which is a gold digger. I think she saw that kind of luxury life style ideas from her.
So what do you think i should do? How can i prove that she is lying?
Updates: Now she denies that her cousin was checking the ipad and he was thinking of going somewehere for holiday and she suggested hongkong and sanya for him. It really doesnt make sense. How the hell you will need money for your mother and suggest your cousin to go to sanya. What kind of sick family is it?
I will not give any money at all. I am sure that her idea was getting some money from me by asking too much.
Updates 2 : I told her what i have found in ipad and i blamed her. She said her cousin looked at it. Then i said i want to see the place where the construction is going on. she said she will show me and we will break up after i see. Eventually she was telling the truth that workers were doing a construction for 20 rooms.
She said that i am stupid not to trust her and she said she wants to break up. Then i regret my suspicion. It is because of the fact that there are so many chinese girls doing this kind of lies and i taught my gf is one of them but eventually she was telling me the truth.

and when she took you to that place under construction to show you you are wrong did you see a big angry protest of people with signs demanding their salary and her moms name on those signs ? NO then that means there is no emergency that workers need to get paid , dont believe anything that girl tells you she is taking your feelings for her as hostage and ransoming it for money, ... what kind of crummy place is a 20 room hotel? even if it was real (ITS NOT) thats a terrible investment for you
I think you should leave her. Even if she is telling the truth.
she is your girlfriend meaning that you have 
deep feelings for her. do what your heart says but always..................................... think with you head and think logically. the story seems shady be careful
GF or not, her mother's financial screw ups are not your responsibility.

I want to ask you one question:if you love her ,you should love her family ?
If she want to break up then just break up. there is plenty of other chinese girl out there. If you start giving that amount of money now, don't expect it to stop.
the fact that she kept changing her story seems enough grounds for suspicion.
and the fact that when you made it clear you didn't believe her, makes it seems like she was just looking for an excuse to break up with you, once it was obvious you wouldn't hand over the money she was looking for.
sorry, but i have become very suspicious since an acquaintance asked me for 20.000 for family medical expenses. Just because we are foreign, does not mean we are ATM’s.
it might sound harsh, but unless I am in a fully committed relationship, that sort of money should not be expected from one side or the other. even the, it should be a voluntary and willing gift/loan, not pressured by 'tradition'.
You are not a bank, and giving it should not be made a condition of love.

Seriously... don't give her a dime. Leave her and move on. The first Chinese girl that I dated asked me for a lot of money, and I made a big show about setting it up for her. I told her I'd get it all for her. Meanwhile, I used her, stretched her, and dumped her to the curb.
The second one did the same thing, but she wanted something different. I used her, too, like the hooker she was, and I had fun doing it. When I was done with my fun, I exposed them and moved on.
Third one didn't, and still doesn't, care about money. I married her. Make good choices, or you'll regret them later. The shame of being cheated may even drive you to suicide.
She is clearly trying to guilt you into giving her the money now.
If she truly needed it, she would have explained it in a calm and clear manner with a consistent story and shown you the proof right from the start. She wouldn't be threatening to dump you for not believing her.
Even if you believe she is not seeing you as only an ATM machine, can the same be said about the rest of her family?
If her mother gets 300,000 out of you the first time, what's to stop her from making another risky investment when she knows she can get her daughter's sucker of a boyfriend to bail her out? What if she comes back asking for 600,000? Will you just cough up the money for her then too?
Dump her and move on. When you marry a girl, you also marry her family, so just keep that in mind next time you are searching for a partner.
Mate, just because she could show you some construction doesn't make her a saint. I'd still be somewhat suspicious, to be honest...
If she loves you she will not ask you for your money to be used for her family !!!
