Q: Is the student X-visa covered by the tuition?

...or will I need to pay a separate fee for that at the PSB?

Going to study Chinese in a university so I'm wondering how much that would be additionally if there was a separate cost.

Thanks guys!

depending on the university you are getting admission in. the cost of visa is separate, the form of it is provided by the university, filled in by the university. if the international office personnel are sincere and they do not want to scam money in it so the price will vary 50 to 100 Yuan in it. normal visa for student is 400 Yuan. medical report depending on the tests how much you are going to take that will cost you nearly 400 to 500 as well. tuition fee, dorm charges, visa fee they are always separate. you can find out easily from the university student who are studying in the concerning major as you want to opt for it.

Once you will enter China with X visa..then you have to apply for Residence permit here..and the duration of permit will depend upon your University program..So you have to pay for your residence permit depending upon the number of years of validity of that residence permit.

Also you have to pay for your medical check up here..because after medical check up..you will get a certificate that you have to attach with the application of residence permit..

Also in that residence permit it will be mentioned that purpose of residence is Studying..
