I'm 24 and I want to move to either cities. I've heard they're both great and they look beautiful
Guangzhou is better. Too hot in summer. But a fantastic place to live.
What does your age have to do with anything?
bayuvar139:
Age does have something to do with it. Young people want to have fun.

24 and working in Dongguan was a bit over the hill. Age is important in some professions.
Nanjing is an old city and beautiful in its own right.
Suzhou is new and modern and expensive but closer by one hour to Shanghai.
This is the third or fourth topic from this account about Suzhou or Nanjing.... Come on and get more creative plzz
They're half an hour from each other... it doesn't really matter!
both are second tire cities. neither are perfect. both are far from your hometown. close to each other and have similar climate. if your career path isn't too strange, you could choose either of them and it's not gonna make much difference.
I've visited both, Id choose Nanjing. Growing job market and newer city.
On my first day in Nanjing, my first impression was that it seemed really dirty to me....After 2 years there, it was the dirtiest and most crowded and polluted city I'd ever lived in in china. The crowds made it far more stressful, dangerous and in china, I would say, more pretentious. The good things about the city just seemed to be more places to spend more of your money and that gets old and cold quickly. The historic places are worth visiting but that can be done just by visiting the city. I have never been to Suzhou.
they say shenzhen is the place to go if you are in your 20's as its considered a young city both in the people there and the city itself !!!
