Q: What is the best VPN to use in August 2013 to get on the American web (use netflix and such)?
I used to use hidemyass, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I use freegate but it can be slow. Some recommend oneclickVPN and strongVPN. Any others you think that don't break the bank?

I heard VPN ninja was good also try VPN astrill.....see how that works for you.
The best VPN will always be to have a nerd-friend in your home country set up a VPN for you, of course that friend needs to have a decent internet connection that can handle the additional traffic.

strongvpn - you can also get a router for home use and have all of your devices connected at one time. very fast and reliable and great customer service. you may have to go to reliablehosting.com to bypass the the watchers....
Can someone suggest one that is totally free to use and can be used straight from a website? None of the ones mentioned above are working for me.

EarthVPN - doesn't break the bank at 4 dollars a month, or 40 dollars for the whole year. Fast, reliable and has never had any problems in China.
best not to discuss on the forums as the goverment does watch these places to see who they need to shut down next with the GFW.
Well,China is great but thinking about the internet really made me crazy, I read a review from a vpn provider "Saturnvpn.com" that some one already used it in China and that was OK there.As it was cheap I bought an account for 2Month and for $5 before I leave for China,I was not sure if it really works or not.When I got there the first thing I tried was the Internet and I saw that allmost all the websites are blocked.I hited the vpn connect button, and in just few seconds it says you are connected, I tried to access some blocked websites and yes! I don't think we need VPN or free gate . Goaqent software usually works with Google and you can open Facebook or YouTube in seconds . Most importantly ,it's totally free .

Pure Vpn are currently having a special. 50 USD for a year and they allow 2 simultaneous logins with the same account. They have 7 or 8 US servers that you can use plus servers from other countries, Iv used HMA before and it cost too much in comparison.
