Q: What's the procedure to take legal action against a school?
Im teacher on a working visa. My previous school i have just left has breached my contract on many issues unpaid wages delayed payment of wages high teaching hours no paid overtime. I wanted to take legal action against the company how would i find a lawyer and do i have to notify my current school and how long does it take to dispute a case.

you say nothing about where you are located. Do you have any local friends that you could ask? They would be more likely to know where to find a legal representative who could advise. And why don't you identify yourself if you are the same poster who has been asking these questions over the last month or so?

Find a local friend who can help you. Ideally someone with connection. Do any of your students drive nice cars? If so then hate a chat with them, if they can't help with a lawyer they may be able to talk directly to the school or other students on your behalf.
the procedure is pretty straight forward They win You loose and you fit the bill as they point and laugh while telling you THIS IS CHINA !!!
In China you have no power, you won't win, bet your a** on that cowboy. Best you can do is blacklist them on every site possible and email them the sites you blacklisted them on.
This is so strange.. this forum is full of foreigners who have all kinds of working experience in China, but there is not one useful post that answers the question as to what you can do if your working contract is illegally breached.
I mean there has got to be somebody, sitting on top of a snow covered mountain somewhere, meditating, who will tell you who's leg you gotta hump to know the procedure for taking legal action against your Chinese employers.
Or that one in a million English teacher, who actually fought against his corrupt school and won!?
The legal action will most likely cost more than the lost wages.
Also, you would probably render yourself highly unemployable in China afterwards if your reputation is "The-foreign-teacher-who-sued-his-school" guy.
Last, do you at least have some kind of official record of the overtime? Like ID card swipes in-out, or fingerprint scans in-out, etc...? Not to mention approval from your boss that they were aware and approved the OT (because OT fraud exists just as much as OT itself).
