Q: where i can extant my f visa ,,?
i m from pakistan holding f visa for 180 days ,,but i want to extand it for 360 days ,,i m in shanghai now ,,plz if any body can help me ..or how can i convert it while staying in china ?

You must visit the Shanghai PSB office (Public Security Bureau) and ask them what you need to do to get a visa extension. I do not understand what do you mean by "convert", do you wish to change the type of visa you have now?. If you wish to work, and your employer is allowed to hire foreigner, then you can get a work permit and a residence permit at same PSB office, but make sure you do have the "Registration of Temporry AResidence Permit fom with you when you go there.
I doubt seriously you will be granted a one year extension on your F visa on a first request. Most extensions are for 30 days only, and mybe they would consider granting a second extension afterwards, but that's it without leaving the country.

You cant even spell extend so how can you, and you will not get an extention for that long F visa have I believe a 6 month life renewable

So whats that an excuse.....Have met many from India and Pakistan especially in Nanchang no qualifications and have to ask what to do becuase they have no idea ,who brings them here is to blame for not checking
