Q: Where is winter?

I'm not sure if it's just in Beijing but this winter has been really mild. Last winter we froze our asses off and they air was disgusting. This year it has barely been below zero and we've had blue skies more often than not. What's going on?

Shhh! Winter will hear you! As with all things Chinese, it will come when it's darn good and ready...and when it does, you'll suffer for your impatience and impertinence.

Yup, same here in Jiangsu. But I'm not sure the Northerners would concur, nor (quite surprisingly)  Kunming or Guiyang people Wink All those rockets sent to Mars, they broke the climate ^^

Down here, winter is as extreme as it can possibly get. 10C and a slight drizzle. It is AWESOME. All the locals stay indoors, but my inner Viking can go out as he is carefully wrapped in a fat-suit, so relaxing to be outdoors.

It's too cold these days in guilin. My phone thermometer shown as low as +1C yesterday and I believe it. Plus, it wouldn't stop raining and the wind is too strong and cold, too. I can't believe Iused to wear a t-shirt like 10 days ago. ..

Rin:

Same for Kunming, two weeks ago I got sunburn!
