1)City Shop
The City Shop chain is one of the most recognisable and well-established in Shanghai. There are seven branches across town, all offering a massive range of imported food like cereal, pasta, sauce, wine, biscuits, fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy products. They also stock English books and international magazines. You can order online through their website and even receive free delivery for orders over 200 RMB; however, there is a service charge of 20 RMB. The main branches are listed below and the others can be found on CityShop’s website.

2) FeiDan
Somewhat bizarrely, this chain’s name means "flying egg" and their whimsical cartoon logo attests to this. All five branches are well-stocked with goods imported mainly from Europe and the United States. They accept online orders via their website and they will deliver your ordered goods for free, within three hours; there is a minimum delivery amount of 100 RMB. Another good reason to shop at FeiDan is the free fabric shopping bag they’ll give you, which is perfect for re-using or doubling up as a laundry bag. The gelato bar at the Anfu Lu branch is also worth a visit.
