Regarding my previous question, Pizza Hut is a huge success here. T.G.I Friday also exists but there's only a few around town. I know these are pretty trashy places, so what kind restaurant chain would you like to see? For all you Brits, one of my guilty pleasures is Nando's - would love to see that here!
indeed, taco bells was open for a couple of months in shanghai's nanjing west road...back in the days..
The Olive Garden. Endless breadsticks and salad! Decent food! It would be good for Chinese society.
Don't shoot me for this, but I'm thinking a Weatherspoons. yeah ok they are crapholes back home. But it would be great to have somewhere to go for decent drinks and a proper steak every once in a while.
I want a decent breakfast ...you know, a little bit different than the rest of the days meals ....IHOP menu could do that for me.................. and I want a flipping burritto , loaded to the max with all the calories you got............ promise to live on fruit and vegies for a week after..nah, that ain't gonna happen....once I know where to get it, big burritto first, fruit and vegies second fiddle
I would have to second the vote for Denny's....I would live there if they had one here and the food was actually the same.
I have done 6 day road trips across the US and have eaten every meal at Denny's morning noon and night....mmmmm....Denny's.
My second choice would be White Spot of course.
OMG! Where is there a TGI Fridays!

There's one in Beijing if you make it up here one day. Never been but I hear it's good.

Yeah I just looked at the menu for the Beijing location, I wanted to make sure it was legit. I just booked my train ticket to Beijing for next Wednesday, I am going to eat everything in sight!! Care to join me? lol
There was one in Suzhou, but they lost the lease. I was told the decor was being moved to Wuxi because I wanted to buy some of the stuff they hang all over the place. Hopefully it will reopen either here or there, man I miss their baby back ribs!
My choice for a new chain;
WHITE CASTLE mmmmmmmmmmmmmm good
Burger Fuel. Best burgers on the planet, and they have quite a few options for vegetarians.
a year ago, I said IHOP.... not backing down from that, but an evening dinner would also be good.....The KEG ... steak and spaghetti or potato...
KEG used to big at home... not so much nowadays, but if they did me a good steak or prime rib ...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
For me it would be Cafe Rouge, but then again no. Once it got here they would mess it up just as they mess up most of the others. So I will wait till I can go to on in Europe.
CHIPOTLE! I had it once in the States and it was the best shit ever! Love it! Also, as the OP said, Nandos would be awesome. They have them in Britain but it's actually South African.
I think they should train some butchers ..... get rid of the hackers.... cut the meat, so it cooks and tastes and goes to a plate better;. that beautiful pic of a chicken hacked up and covered in some reddish sauce...doesn't do it for me. scrawny little piece of shit chicken in the end....no meat!!
I want more, obviously beef, but I do think they could do the same with most any animal parts. some care and precision in the preparation. A GOOD BUTCHER!!
Id die for an i hop or dennys. The only decent breaky food is in a hotel. TGI fridays was in HK but i hear it closed. They have Outback steakhouses everywhere in hk and id love to have one more local.
Is there a wendys in china? Thrice ive seen girls wearing tank tops with wendy on it and got horny and hungry....

Also being Canadian, i must say Tim Hortons but as american donut shops are closeing all the time around me, i highly doubt itll happen
Pizza hut sucks here in my vicinity. First I have to wait for a table about 40 minutes or an hour and secondly the menu and the dishes differ.
