What province do you live in (when in China) and have you seen a saxophone playing Santa this year.
Guangdong - Yes (also saw him last year)
Karamay, Xinjiang. The restaurant under my building has a fantastic grandfather clock with a picture of santa above it. The boss had the clock shipped over from Qingdao. The santa picture has been hanging there since I arrived in August last year.
Jiangsu, and nope, I did see cups in the shape of big turds being sold yesterday though. Big sellers too..
Anhui, Hefei.
Yes, have seen a saxophopne playing Santa... at Carrefour.
Beijing for now, but we'll see what the future brings in the new year.
Guilin, Guangxi. I want to dress like Santa and get blown.
Dongguan, Guangdong. And surprisingly there is very little in the way of Christmassy stuff out this year, It's like everyone has forgotten! Apart from the one's who still have last year's Christmas decoration hanging since last year!
Yunnan.
I also represent Hebei since I lived there for three years til last July.
I saw a guitar playing Santa here, does that count?
Taipei.
Scandinavian:
I don't think that counts. I mean, I recognize Taiwan as a sovereign country. Nice place though.
Yuncheng, Shanxi about two hours from Xian, Shaanxi - different provinces.
They are playing Christmas music and putting stuff up in their shops. Not many foreigners here but the locals seem to like Christmas for shopping.
I see some spaz has tried to upvote everyone here but failed to hit the correct button so all got downvotes
I represent:
Anhui, Hubei, Hunan. Lived in them more than anywhere else. Saw lots of Saxo-santas last year.
Scandinavian:
Sorry dude. This is eChinacities, can't have a US state on the map.
Scandinavian:
I see your point. Hmmmm. Let me think about that. Maybe we need a "Where does your mother in law live" thread.
Hulk:
We don't live with her while in China. We just visit occasionally.
Guangdong....SZ.
Why does your map exclude us Guangdongers?
Scandinavian:
You're right. Typo somewhere. And actually we guangdongers are the most populous group of people according to my map.
Liaoning, Shenyang (on the map it says Shenyeng, now that hurts...)
What's wrong with those living in Sichuan, Shaanxi (Xi'an), Jilin? Don't be shy!
I haven't changed and I plan to sign up for another year here. Karamay, Xinjiang.
The blue sky out here is actually blue. And the snow is still thick on the ground.
