I love China because of very good food, low cost of life and Chinese women, but there are aspects of China I dislike.

Sometimes we 'Mericans, and Westerners in general, need to vent out. Why don't we leave? Because we still like the countary. Should we be forced to stop complaining about things we don't like? It is our freedom to say what we like, and what we don't. There's a balance between teh two.

When I am in my homeland, I frequently complain about things: the price of things, the (slow) speed of the postal system, the weather, annoying people you meet on the street etc.

Complaining DOES make you feel better, because it helps you to relate with others.

I don't think the Chinese are used to complaining, because if you look at history -- during the Cultural Revolution -- people were punished for criticizing the regime and complaining. So, there is a whole generation of Chinese people (your parent's generation) who grew up being afraid to voice their opinions or complain about things. So now it's less common for Chinese to complain about stuff. And they are generally very sensitive when 'outsiders' criticize their country.

Complaints are just idle words. Face the problems, do something about them!

We complain because we seek perfection, we want the world to be like as we think it should be. Realistically though... nothing is perfect. Especially your own image of utopia.

I don't really complain not because I am afriad of saying what I think, just complain doesn't help. I cannot change anything, I can either accept or leave. I am not saying foreigners here~

human are never satisfied with one condtion since the day human came, satisfiction , contentment, and to be fullfilled in heart and mind have never been achieved..... no one have satisfied the desire the feelings and no one think that he has achieved the best and the perfect. that is why human are changing constantly............. they complain to ease their self mental.... decision and talking to relief people for many burden in heart and mind.......

they do not change because no one know the future and no one can foresee it before hand... so changing is really tough for people and its not an easy task as well.

Chinese people accept more easily and follows the rules. The big issue here is people complaining about a city or country the people or its laws and rules. I visited 26 countries in which i also worked. Had god times and very bad ones. Hell we have the right to decide our fate in this case so we can’t change a thing in China or demand others to change so we can like it here. So there is only 1 simple answer... go home brother.
On the other hand, many of us forget the hardship or conditions we lived in before (yes in this US, UK and maybe Nigeria) and find China a good place have a job, place to live a liveable income...until you get used to the life and comfort, then the people complain about the nitty gritty 1st and soon after nothing is good enough anymore.... unthankful people.
Comoe on people the moment you unhappy and cant change it...... get the hell out of this place. Show the chinese you used to a better life and you dont need them.

Why is it when anyone says anything bad about China you tells us to love it or leave it. I would complain about my own country as well if I was living there, This is not a personal insult to Chinese people but only for the most part to the policies put in place by your party.

I think i know wenna a little better, and can assure you she is telling the truth about been to Germany and been there for a while. She on the other hand came back to China for the reason you an I are here. For me this is a better country than many i been to (including USA). We all have different tastes and likes this is why we live where we live. Yes no country is perfect but sure ill never remain in a City or country if i am as unhappy as many i hear off. For me it will be the same as a punishment to live where EVERYTHING is pissing me off. Guys we in Wennas homeland shouldn't we have more respect??
