Q: Do we really care about points?
I keep getting messages encouraging me not to post any more because I will not receive points.
But how many of us really care about the free VPN for a year, a cheap jacket or a flash light?
Who posts for postings sake and who posts for the freebies?

Posting is like playing skeeball; fun way to spend my time, and keep me off the streets doing god knows what to further embarrass other laowai. Plus I then get the chance to cash in all these Chucky Cheese's tickets for cheap prizes.

I post way above and beyond any points given although it seems the site now is actively trying to discourage people from posting it seems, if you make any posts not directly related to the question then it's disallowed so i guess that means this place isn't meant to function as a forum where not only we can ask questions and comment on them but simply discuss and have fun....Not allowed. Whatever... I'm getting a free VPN.

I realize it's been frustrating when your comments, albeit unrelated to the original question, are deleted. I want to let you all know we're working on having both the option to comment and answer each question, with the former not awarding points but allowing people to engage in a discussion on the topic at hand with no moderation on my part (apart from controlling for excessive profanity and advertising, of course).
When this is implemented, answers will be answers, and people will also be capable of having a discussion on the topic.

my comments got delete too , only because i just made some applauses instead answer the former question. what a boring cat., it is obviously your cat portrait not as cute as my.
GoldenBoy does not care if anyone's comments got 'delete', nor does he think that the white cat is cooler than the black cat.
GoldenBoy tried hard but he finds himself (due to his addictive nature) wanting to 'level up'. He also realised however, that he has so much to say here that he will eventually have enough points to give everyone a free VPN.
Having said that, he has inner turmoil. The conflict of posting because he can't keep his mouth shut nor let things pass without letting his opinion known and that of losing points.
Self-destruct seems imminent, that's why he has been on stand-by for the last two days.
