Q: all i want is a shower and not to be stabbed what can i get for 2500 or less in beijing

Just to clarify

First I want a flat with a private shower not one for the whole floor though I am willing to share with a roommate or two

Second I which not to be stabbed by a crazed Chinese person because I live in the worst slum in the whole of Beijing

Third I am very prepared to defend myself from a stabbing while in the shower so that is not at all what I am worried about

Get the "All-in -One StabFree 2000". Guaranteed to not stab you whilst enjoying your monthly shower or your money back.

I couldn't resist.

I'm pretty sure you could hire a 6'2" body-builder who does kung-fu for less than 2500....(he may want 'a bonus', however Tongue)

You're gonna need a roomate. Finding a one bedroom or studio for that is tough. You should also get a Chinese friend to do you a solid and check Chinese websites.
