Q: Best way to approach professors
I got phd admit in chinese university and will be joining this year, based on my interest i choose some prof and mailed them but did'nt reply. Do professors in china will not respond mail or they didnt like me to join their group?

I never contact School's professors directly with my CV.
However when I send 50 CV to positions in China, I receive 1 or 2 replies the most. I am non-native English teacher.
Chinese Schools won't reply to your CV, if they aren't interested.
I applied for several Schools in EU yesterday, and I received two replies from the Schools 12h after I mailed my CV, just to inform me, their English teaching positions are filled, and 'we'll inform you as soon as the opportunity arise'.
That's common in Western School, not so in China.
