You don't have to involve Hong Kong in the process. You can do the entire thing from your own country.

That said, it sounds like A) the people you plan to work for are extremely dishonest, or B) you are.

unless your keyboard has a problem with spelling, perhaps they did you a favor, giving the benefit of the doubt, lose your passport and get a new number and start over.

What does "wrong" invitation even mean. A genuine mistake would have been spotted by the people working at the reception, who would have helped you point out why it was a "mistake". Maybe wrong person, or wrong place of application.

The only plausible way your documents would filter through the reception and be a "mistake" is that it was a fake. Then my answer would be that yes, you are likely to be banned from getting a visa, since you signed an application sheet that clearly stated that producing false information and documents would have consequences.

For the record, even if I don't really believe your case is going anywhere, remember that you are entirely responsible for whatever your application contains, including genuine errors.

You are responsible if you sign the papers. So if you submitted them and the paperwork was wrong, it's your big problem. once Blacklisted it will take an act of God to get you cleared.

Try again in some other country .

I am an assistant director /resident English consultant for the agency I work for.

I trouble shoot a lot of things for  teachers that work for us.  If you sign that  line you are held accountable.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
