Q: Can Chinese media ever hope to gain a foothold in the West?
Hi guys,
I've noticed that some Chinese media outlets are desperately trying to attract Western audiences, also by using such abominable and satanic tools as facebook, twitter and youtube. Can Western audiences in your opinion ever consider them even a bit trustworty?

Unfortunately, yes. What's likely to happen is some pathetically lazy 'journalist' will probably do a quick google sometime, find an article on their site, and then 'quote' it as a trusted source... which then gets picked up by some other media outlet.
People won't bother checking the source, nor Snopes or similar, and then just take it as being all true and correct.
There is on one media to fit in the others' format. When it's powerful, others learn from it.
