I've seen them for sale at small places in GZ but you never know how long they've been sat behind the glass counter here. Aren't decent ones supposed to be kept in a humidor?

silverbutton1:

There is a proper Cigar shop on Shimain Island. Very close to the Hostel. Be prepared to pay though. I dont know if it has a humidor room. Jeez, im trying to quit smoking cigars. im on my last 5. now im craving one too. THANKS JERKS. sad  surprise

I bought one few years ago in Shenzhen. Small shop close to one of the Railway stations. MC was too dry and overpriced (doubled HK price).

You're better off the get them in HK. They are properly stored.

I usually go to the last hotel on the L side of Nathan (Mong Kok), if you're heading toward the sea (building no's decrease/bellow 100). Can't remember name of the hotel. Last or 2nd last building, before you hit the sea.

You can find 'Cubans/cigars retailers in HK' through Yahoo-gle search with addresses listed. Every district in HK has at least one Cubans shop.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
