Here in China people do not respect their neighbors. There is always noise at night especially firecrackers. You are on your own.

Noise is a way of life here. Get some earplugs.

People used to call the police on me and my room mates ALL THE TIME for noise complaints. But that might just be a matter of knowing the right people. Which we obviously didn't.

Is at citi or ?i think china police never care about this mater, this china not USA , so not the same, i thing at china if you have conection they will hear you, but if not forget it, I think no help for You, You beter call Your neighborhood,

"If you have a connection" or willing to offer some money, smokes or alcohol....nice to see that the upsatnding law in this country really puts its "Harmonious" thoughts first eh....forget calling them for anything, they are a waste of time and even if they do turn up, will probably not do anything anyway.

But what I did, just yelled from my window, told them to shut up... It's not totally quiet now, but it's surely much better, as long as I can fall asleep...

So, talk to them first, if that doesn't help, u don't have other choice but call the police...

Just go and knock your neighbour´s door and politely tell them that you need to sleep. Police "should" be busy with really important things and not this...

China not like USA/hongkong/singapore,, money Or RMB can Talk , no money no talk,how come gangster hit some one untill go to hospital for 10 day , Police never care why Police care neighbors make noise late at night? this no mater ,dont think Police will Help You this non sence ,
