Q: Did anyone else have to do their medical examination before arrival?
My school asked me to get a medical check for the work visa. At first they said it could just be a regular wellness check, but then they said the visa was rejected because it wasn't accaptable and sent me a longer form with a list of test to have done. Trouble is none of the doctors in my area are able to fill out the form, they're not even sure what some of the spaces are for, and the tests would be really expensive. I'm not sure what to do because I have worked abroad before and have always done these exams after I arrived.
Employer/Z visa sponsor wants to make sure, you won't be entering China with any disease or illness which would prevent authorities to issue Residence permit.
That started in 2015, if I remember correctly.
Russians demand the same thing before granting longer term stay permit.
