Q: Did you get what you were looking for?
One of my students just asked me why I'm still single.
I answer, as many would, cos I haven't found what I'm looking for.
Those of you who are - did you? Or did you change your wants? How close is the person you're with to the person you thought you wanted?
(for me, after the 'attractive' requirement, seems I can't get anyone to fit the 'mature' and 'independent' criteria :( )

Mature and independent women exist even in China, but they are a rarity, the younger ones are surrounded by swarms of 4/10 hedonistic shopping addicts whose only concern is finding a rich man so they can keep shopping forever. The men are no better, seeing potential mates as disposable incubators to be cheated onto with their mistresses.
I don't believe you'll ever find exactly what you're looking for! Though congratulations to anybody who has.
Attractive, mature & independent is a great mix to wish for but I didn't find that combination here. So I quite happily settled for mature, independent & pretty bit average! I'm very happy with my wife. Met here on a dating site & she had no photo showing. I was attracted by what she wrote & the fact she liked good coffee & motorbikes. 
Honestly, I don't think that is how Love works. I sure can't explain how I think it works,,,, but I sure know it's not a thing like that; like engineering where we calculate through cause & effect. I just think Love is an emotion. An unexplainable emotion. Two people who are seemingly ill-suited for one another judged by standard criteria may fall totally, helplessly in Love.

Better stay single than be in a mediocre relationship which is akin to that pain in the as@, standing no pain, sit down you scream (that's what people with that pain say).

These are the things your mind wants , but when you find the love of your life you will be surprised how different she is from what your mind wanted ,and you will still surprisingly love her for what she is ,not for what you want.Good Luck.
