Q: Do you have a favorite Chinese snack food?

My vote goes to Huangfeihong spicy peanuts. I have yet to find a better accompaniment for a cold beer. I bring a dozen bags with me for friends every time I go home.

What's yours?

In Guangzhou, I love having grilled squid on a stick.  I know it sounds odd, but I am not kidding.  I love the chewy grilled flavor.

For pub crawls, I love getting a flat, green onion bread from street vendors, it goes great with cold beer.

Dove chocolate bars, even though the company is USA owned, believe it or not.  Otherwise, I agree with Pogger above.  As for eating pigeon, squid, etc., etc., I am an animal rights person so that's the last thing that I would ever do.
