Absolute evidence for Darwin. Humanoid (homo sapiens sapiens) is simply a version of Hominoidea. As soon as we can accept that, perhaps we can improve as a species.
I call it the 'monkey squat'
Russians do it too, lol.
When I see them squatting, every time I just picture them taking a dump on the floor and laugh to myself. People think I'm crazy... but when they're sitting around squatting like they need to take a crap, I can't help but find it funny.
Not as much as I used to have. When I first came to China I was terrified of my poor balance being combined with an attack of laduzi to form the biggest accident of my life. It has not happened and my squatting skills have since improved (and my digestive system also)
My knees cannot take the strain.
If I try it, either my legs seize up or my knees make a very alarming cracking noise when I rise.
Scandinavian:
don't worry, worst case is you have to roll onto you side, then get up in whatever way works for you. your dignity might suffer though
mike168229:
Dignity? That left me the day I stood in human poo in the street.
Scandinavian:
are you sure ? I mean if it was your own poo, perhaps it would cause loss of dignity, especially if it had made is way to the street without your prior removal of clothing
mike168229:
You may have a point there. However, I feel my dignity is removed on a daily basis by the trials and tribulations of just existing here.
Not at all...crap...my gf often squats on the freakin chair while we eat dinner...like it is somehow more comfortable than sitting.
Hulk:
ROFL.
I picture her behaving like a monkey while sitting. I'm sorry, thedude. lol
And actually... I'm starting to squat a bit. It's kinda comfortable.
thedude:
Actually..she squats with her legs together and knees beside her chest when at the table...she is quite flexible.
