I can talk to somebody and inquire if Philipino people are given in HK the Business Visa. I believe it's possible but just confirm it tomorow. Then I will let you know if my link can help you get the one year business visa.

So, I had this mostly angry talk with my agent regarding your need for 1 year Business Visa. All in all she didn't even bother to explain me why isn't it possible. She said: "We cannot help the philippinal teacher with their visas in Honkong, sorry" . Of course it's a quoted message and this is what she wrote in her English.

I asked: "Why not?"

She replied: because of the policy

I asked: "what if that contact yours helps him to get the Visa (1 year Business Visa).? Is it because he is a Philippino that he cannot get the Visa in Hong Kong? What policy do you refer to?  Please let me know.

She replied: "We can't help philippinos, sorry"

I asked: Why? Please give me a reasonable answer so I can pass it to the guy. Is it the law or what else it could be?

She replied: u don't need to explain to him cause he must know the reason better than you. It's about international relationship

I replied: There are Philippino teachers here in China, how do they get the Visa> Or is that they can get only the Working Visa from Philippines? And of course I need to explain him because he needs a replying from me. Please let me know.

She replied: The government just refuse the application without explanations. That's all I can tell u"

In my opinion, it looks that the only Visa possible to get  is the Working Visa. But I still can ask another person about that.

I was really pissed off about how little support my agent gave me. Let me talk to somebody else and I will post the replying on this thread.

I inquired again somebody else. Definitely it is not possible at least as told by a friend. I asked for official records, statements in Chinese thinking to send to translation to a friend. It's not possible either. I wish I had an official source regarding those immigration issues. I am sorry I could not be of real help. Why would you consider packing up?

As I know that Filipino is very difficult to get a long term visa in China now. The policemen won't approve. But one of my friend who work in a visa agent in Guangzhou , he said he can do the one year Z visa for Filipinos.
