I saw gangs of women every where. I was always worried about my wallet.

If I remember right, the Chinese name for the Mafia equivalent is "Tong", same as the word for 'hurt'. Of course, Mafia comes from the phrase, "my daughter".
In any case, you can usually tell the soldiers because they are covered in tattoos. They are not to be messed with. These guys will kill you if you start anything with them. Thankfully, they normally don't deal with foreigners simply because they are not worth the trouble they cause. They stick to the usual things like drugs, prostitution, protection racquets, etc...

I had dinner with a bunch of these guys eight years ago. One of the girls there said she'd be my girl if I could beat her man in a fight. He was sat next to her bare-topped and with a large dragon across his chest. I just laughed it off but she was rough as a barn door. A right tart. I wouldn't have wanted to fight her, let alone the bloke.

Since it was a gang dinner, I think going Baijuhulk would have been more appropriate.
trust me they are around, and they are really obvious, lots of them hang out in the night clubs or around the clubs, well for sure they are not like gangs at home they dont start fighting others or cause trouble for no reason, but things can get nasty if they are angry
