When i am in Guangzhou, I normally go to Starbucks either on China Plaza or at the China Hotel.

At China Plaza it will be on the basement, just make 180 turn at base of stairs and you will see it, 18 Rmb for a double expresso.

The one at China Hotel will be on ground floor, to the rear and towards the left of the reception.  And by the way, very near the coffee shop is a place selling foreign groceries, and for China I found many good things in it

i hate people in a city like guangzhou/ shanghai/ beijing/ shenzhen acting like they cant find a simple thing that is readily available in a grand city like guangzhou. have you searched outside your apartment ? start there you got so many damn starbucks in guanzhou easily accessible by subway or buses. (stick to the daily brew and not the fancy shit flavoured stuff (i meant Shat) (i meant us spelling on flavoured) (damn did it again been here too long) (i know i'm supposed to use brackets inside paranthesises, you try finding that damn key when you need it)

where was i. live in a shathole like nanchang. no pucking starbucks no decent coffee shop under 30rmb. the massage girls are over priced and awful.
in a grand city like gz go for a walk! the weather is always nice. walk into a shop try it out. devil
(have a sense of homour or go home) (damn it why do i keep spelling uk style)
mattaya: i'll give you a freebie "has china changed your spelling style more to the uk standard" something like that i gotta go

xianyi:

thanks for ur comment lol,yeh starbucks coffee sucks aye,im so gonna miss da coffee here wen i leave here for gud.i really need to find out sum gud coffee shops in guangzhou, thats where my hometown is by da way.i gtta go,thanks again lol.

in zhu jiang new town, tianhe, the road between liede garden and nan guo garden(sorry forgot the shop name!), it is a very nice coffee shop, sometimes when i walk there, i feel like i am walking in bankstrasse in duesseldorf...there is an international kindergarden to the opposite of the coffee shop... really amazing!smiley
