I don't want my current employer to see me looking for a new job and I do not see any option to apply for an advertised job here at ECC that lets us apply WITHOUT posting our resume and photo online. Identity thieves probably love this web site!
Invite (interested) employer to reply to your email address, and you'll forward them your CV , photo and docs....'You can write notice into Introduction letter.
No can do with the way the system is setup (from what I can see). There is no contact info of the employer provided. Am I wrong?
How about using a different site. There is no law that requires you to use this site. And who the hell cares if your resume is on here. Is your employer going to call you into his office and yell at you?
And you whine about identity thieves, heres an idea. When you apply for a job you send your resume, so if you are afraid of a registered employer at this site seeing your resume and stealing your info than stop applying for jobs you moron. Only registered employer accounts can see your resume. And the same registered employers post job ads.
CFTU are like roaches just when you think you got them all you see one crawling on your computer screen.
Almost:
Can you explain what is a "regisered employer" ? Don't kid yourself... "registered employers" are not the same as "direct employers". And WTF does this OP have to do with the CFTU? You are the only one to mention that group in this thead. Putting people's personal data online without their permission creates a shitload of spam and makes things easier for ID thieves my friend.
For Ted: If you apply for a job here the system is set up where your resume and photo automatically getting posted online without your consent or an opt out option. Emails to customer service are just ignored. Has anyone out there figured out away to apply directly to the employer without advertising to the world and your current employer you want to bail?
Englteachted:
No stupid, in order to apply for a job you must register and create 'resume'. Learn to use your brain. Make decisions yourself, if you do not want to post a resume with this site then use another site that is more to your liking.
Tarzan:
Hey "stupid" I never said I had a problem with creating a resume. Read the OP. I want to know how to apply for a job with employers here advertising at ECC without publicly posting my photo and resume online. I want it only to go to the company advertising the job I am applying for. Now I have explained this to you three different ways. You seem to be the one with English comprehension issues - not me. If you don't know the answer, then just say so rather than attacking me.
Englteachted:
"in order to apply for a job you must register and create 'resume'. "
That's your answer, learn to read.
Does admin ever answer questions like this that nobody else can?
Tarzan:
You truly are obsessed with those CFTU guys Ted. You keep mentioning them when nobody else does. I asked a straight forward question about a privacy issue. WTF does this have to do with the CFTU Ted?
