Q: How come baseball never took off in China?
Koreans, Taiwanese and Japanese people dig it, how come China never got into it? I don't know why they like basketball so much, I can't stand that game. By far the best US game is baseball, so I'm surprised.

because if they have a girlfriend, they have to run home to meet the parents after reaching second base. and because a line drive is something that they just cant wrap there head around
I think it is too organized for their tastes. Basketball is just a free-for-all of running, pushing, shouting, throwing. I believe the sport matches the temperament.
I agree, baseball is the best sport !
For baseball you need a lot of space and a team to play. But for basketball, they can put a lot of hoops in one place, all you need is a ball. You can play by yourself, or play with a bunch of people. You can play if you're good at it or not, and everybody's almost constantly in motion. I don't know, it just seems easier, a simple group activity. It's very casual.
