I want to fin a job teaching English in Pyongyang at an Americano or Canadian owned English institute. Maybe a school that is close to the unity arch. i heard Denis Rodman English was good. Any school owned by a former Detroit Piston will do. Anyone hear anything good about John Sally English?

srsly ? I mean, does anyone but the Kim family own anything in Korea, North?
But would be a tradeup from China, at least you can have clean air. I don't think they have the gutter oil technology there yet.
I don't mean to stir up the pot, but I just wanna point out that you should check up a few scam sites in order to educate yourself on the REAL requirements of teaching in North Korea. Do not believe those North Korean recruiters who lie to you saying you don't need any kind of qualifications. You should check out the North Korean version of scam busters, and the yahoo answers section that relates to TESOL in North Korea.
In fact, you need to have played in the NBA for at least 5 years minimum in order to meet the qualification of English teacher in North Korea. In addition to your English teaching you will be required to organize basketball matches at least once a week.
You should present a kind of certificate of team membership in order to get legally employed.

Don't believe Jetfire 9000!
Sounds like you need to talk to the NKFTU, or the North Korea Foreign Teacher's Union.
Only the NKFTU can tell you which recruiters can and cannot be trusted. Anyone who tells you different is one of those expat recruiters I mentioned in another forum post.

If you do not believe I am a real member of the NKFTU, then just look at my image for verification.

What a surprise! Jetfire can't post the NKFTU verification picture because he is not a member and lacks the moral fiber to do so!
That's how you spot a recruiter, it says right here in this official posting that anyone who doesn't post with a Pinocchio is a recruiter for sure.

The important thing is for no one is every criticize the NKFTU, because only they have the moral authority to post on this matter.
I taught at the Bill Laimbeer Big Building o' English once. Quality outfit

Did you go through an agent? Do you have a contact number? I tried calling the New York Liberty, but they had no idea what I was talking about.

You actually just need to take a swing at Larry Legend and a letter of invitation should appear in your mail box as if by magic.
Depending on your appearance and nationality there might be an opportunity available for you as a national NK propagandist. We need an English speaking, western looking face to praise the dear leader on the world stage. Please send your CV to 19238343493493483834@163.com with subject "Nationality* Deserter looking for job opportunity" to apply. Please come on a tourist visa but we promise we will convert it to a work visa upon arrival. There will also be a one week free stay in the Hotel of Doom (pictured below)to help you adjust to life in Pyongyang
If you need to ask this question on this forum than I am afraid you aren't going to cut it
goog luck man!! dont end up in prison in north korea for taking pictures!!
The best way is to just enter the country. The friendly border staff will give you a lift free of charge to a all year round summer/winter camp.
Do you really think its a good idea to go there!!!!! Good luck..
are there any differences between china and NK?

Try to leave your assigned hotel without your assigned chaperone...
I met a girl from Australia that teaches there and they pay her big bucks to train bankers in business English but she says she gets really lonely there and will leave when her contract ends. This was last year at Christmas holidays so she is probably gone by now.
