The old ladies that rent the place are clueless. The bathroom floor is not finished. Rough concrete only and not finished concrete but a porous powerdery looking stuff. Couldn't make water on the floor go to drain even if wanted too. The ladies do try to mop up the water but cant stop the leaking. Their landlord rented the place unfinished. Refuses to fix the floor and said will fix my roof and walls in the spring. I dont want blackmold in my place. How to get him to address this problem correctly?
Contact the management of the area you live in. They will sort it. If you are renting then the agency rep who co-signed the contract can help too.
To be honest, nothing is going to happen. Even if the landlord does finish the place as he said, you will have a half a dozen people looting your belongings when you are out. Not to mention the shit and dust everywhere for weeks/months.
Move. And expect to kiss your deposit goodbye.
i own it. Has been great for last 6yr. Now the guy above rent it, thats when the trouble start. 100sqm place all updated like a western apartment. Not an option to move out.
all these people know is money tell them they will have to pay for damages the if u dont stop it now u will start to get mold then u will have real problems
I have a sort of similar problem, but it's from a downpipe, not from the upstairs neighbour.
My landlord has said she's refusing to pay the maintenance fees until it's fixed, which I totally support. After all, what are maintenance fees for?
