First they must apply to Dept of Peter Pan and then to Michael Jackson for clearance to Neverland, unless they have lots of money or want to go to school, again lots of money..

iirc you're not allowed to apply more than 90 days ahead of your intended date of travel. However, having said that, a huge percentage are refused primarily due to fear that the applicant won't return.

visitors visa to the united states

number 1

you must convince them that you have a strong reason to return to china, business , family obligations, great job, etc.

number 2

fake identification is everywhere in china, so bring photos of you with your family currently , 10 years ago , 20 years ago, if it looks photoshopped, forget it.

number 3

you must prove your responsible by traveling to 3 different countries and returning to china within the visa requirements for those countries.

number 4

unless you have family to write statements of support for you that you will be staying with , you need to have a balance of 20 to 30 thousand in the bank to show you can support yourself and it must be in the bank for more than 6 months, cant borrow money from a friend last month. real bank statements not copies from the internet.

if you travel for training or corporate events, academic events, medical research, the 3 country rule is waived.

these are the criteria for the state department. they are not written anywhere, i have friends that work there, also your length of stay is determined after your arrive by immigration at the airport, state department can only give 90 days from beijing but you could get longer upon arrival. dont let a long flight and a bad mood make you piss off the uscis agents when your arrive stateside

good luck.

GuilinRaf:

What if you wanna bring your Chinese spouse?

I know that legally, you can do so if  you are willing to wait  2-5 years.

If you bring  her across illegally, then that is different: in state college tuition, drivers license, voting rights, etc.

Just make sure you hire the right "snake head" for the crossing of the border....

ambivalentmace:

bring your wife as dependent takes about a year depending on number of applicants 2 years. , have to show income of 19500 dollars a year for support or family member signs an affadavit of support. papers processed in guangzhou, lots of fees. about a thousand dollars.

go home and bring her as a fiance visa k1 about 4 months.

need last 3 years of tax returns also. fees are about the same. also need to know your wife 's parents birthdays and place of birth for the applications. most of my students cant tell me their parents birthdays and forget the wedding anniversary, also need copies of any prior divorces from the courts.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
