Q: How many cans of milk powder can I bring back from Macau?

Wife read on Baidu that they allow 4 cans per person but that didn't make sense to me since they only allow 2 cans per person from HK.

If you are two people you can bring 4 cans.

Note. I always smuggle milk (the real thing) over the border, never been questioned about it.... This is not encouraging to violate import laws, but the laws are most likely in place to prevent mainlanders emptying the shops in Macau more than it is to prevent a good law abiding Ninja in getting some powder as a bad substitute for his wifes titties.

2 per person, just like HK.

I go to HK regularly for work since my head office is located there. I always bring back 2 cans and sell it back across the border in Shenzhen.

There is no limit to how many times a day you can do it.

You can make good extra money doing this.

Tour guide said 5 per person. WTF is with all the different answers I've been getting?

Eorthisio:

You tour with a guide in Macau? Even walking randomly with no idea where you are going you can see everything that there is to see in half a day.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
