Q: How popular is it to dye your hair in China?

For me I prefer natural colors, but I have seen people that had their hair color changed to yellow/blonde and some red. Is it popular to dye your hair in China or isn't it?

Is it popular to dye your hair in China?

Come on man, the hundreds you walk by on the street everyday and you don't know if it's popular.... naw it's not popular, there's just a large population of Chinese women with natural red highlights.

Of course it is popular but you are only focusing on non natural colour. This is only a minuscule amount compared to those who use black dye to cover the grey.

Woody, I'm guilty of that too...my wife makes a night of dying my "white areas" as she puts it. I actually enjoy the "personal service" as I would never get away with it in Canada. Hard to find a colour other than black tho but she somehow has found a brownish alternative.  My buddies would have a field day. Call me shallow but who am I to argue?
However I have seen countless men and women getting the black reinforcement in the salons.
