Q: How would caragorize Chinese workers at your company?

How would categorize Chinese workers at your company or school Based on Fictional Characters?

Here's my take, I based mine on Star Wars:

The Sith Lord CEO or any company, they lie, cheat and can talk a good game. They think they can manipulate you anytime.

The Darth Managers or Darth head teachers, or The Darth teaching supervisors, always doing as the master wishes, following every order.  Waiting to become the next sith Lord.

The  Storm Trooper Ayi’s, little do you know that Ayi’s hold a lot of power in strong numbers. They have their own world. They all love to follow Execute order #66.

The Ewok's teaching assistants or any front desk or any type assistant.  Sometimes they’re cute and fuzzy in some places.

The Jedi foreign workers, we bring balance to China, wisdom and unselfishness.   But just like Anakin Skywalker, Enough time in China can turn you into a Sith Lord apprentice.

I don't actually work, but I have in the past spent a lot of time with people from an IT company in Shenzhen and also a couple of other places in China.

The boss, infallible, or at least he thinks so. None of his staff would ever dare to say anything against him. I was there as a specialist for a project they were going to do. Day one I pointed out that they were doing something wrong. In the group there was a couple of pretty bright nerds. They agreed with me and then wandered off to do it how the boss told it should be done. I've seen this one particular boss yell at one of his employees for 20 minutes straight for doing what the boss himself had told him to do, but turned out to not be right. As an outsider that he was paying for specialist knowledge I took the chance to give him a glimpse into my email box where it had repeatedly been pointed out his approach was wrong and in detail described how it would fail. In 100% correspondence with how things actually turned out. I had lunch alone that day.

Most technical employees are fairly weak at the technical level. Despite seemingly being best buds, having lunch together, there is little collaboration. No one taps into the other peoples strengths. Even if they know one of their colleagues has some key knowledge they will still try themselves, which is good I guess, just not when results are not matching the deadline.

People generally think they are doing a good job, when all they do from checking in in the morning until they check out in the afternoon/evening is piss about.

All companies I've worked with has had one person, bosses assistant or secretary that is the little quiet type, but who is probably the most  important in keeping the company running. Someone who can keep thousands of balls in the air.

It's quite a feudal system.

The Baron at the top, doing whatever they like, sending decrees and taxing the serfs (lateness, illness, etc). Can do no wrong.

The Sherriff, day to day command and control of the serfdom. Enforcing the taxes and manipulating the power they have to make lives miserable.

The Serfs, downtrodden, unmotivated, miserable. Looking forward to the day that they have put in enough time to be Sherrifs' deputy or granted freedom.

The Crusader, waltzes in with high ideals and morals. Quickly becomes jaded and disenfranchised when they realise that nothing they say or do makes any difference whatsoever as this system has been in place for 5000 years.

Married With Children. The inspiration for my ''No Why Club" -No One Will Harness You.

I've never worked in China, so I base this on observations. The Bundys would be a typical Chinese family.

Al is the men, have a useless job like a shoe salesman, where he does nothing all day, then complains about what he sees. ''Oh Peg,It was so hairy and it had teeth. Oh Peg, it winked at me. Oh Peg, I think it was a Scotsman. Oh Peg,it was so hairy that it looked like Bob Marley"  Al is terrified of the all-to-frequent amorous advances his ditsy wife Peggy. Al frequently relives his 15 minutes of fame when he managed to stop a tank while crossing the road. And you know how hard it is just to cross a road with normal traffic. Al is always thinking about ''big uns" and he and his pals frequenent the KTVs and test them by bouncing beer bottles off padded bras. Als hobbies are picking his orifces.

Peg is a Chinese woman, the ditsy wife, watches TV all day while eating congee and loves to shop. She is constantly nagging Al while throwing the little money he earns away on herself.

Bud is a young guy, smart but gets no where, especially with women. He thinks of himself as a ladies man while not realizing that he looks like a girl.

Kelly is the very promiscuous teen aged daughter  who makes up in attractiveness what she lacks in IQ points. She works in a KTV.

The Bundys next door neighbors are chuppies, Chinese yuppies, they drive a BMW and constantly make fun of Al and his poor hygene.

The Bundys have a dog called Buck. Buck dies is a tragic dinner accident and is reincarnated,, at least once.

Dear Lord, I think you just perfectly turned the Bundy's into a Chinese family in my mind forever.... I used to love that show... but still do with a new take on it
