Ok, so I've spent the last 5 years planning lessons for my students. Luckily I posted all of my stuff on the internet for you, so you don't need to plan anymore. It's totally free and it only takes 30 seconds to look at. That's worth saving tons of hours planning. It's called Dangerously Easy ESL Games & Lesson plans.
If you like it, give me a thumbs up and spread the word.

I love lesson planning. I spend my free time planning while watching TV shows from home (thank god new shows are back).
I thought after a while I would just recycle my lessons but I like to tailor my lessons to each specific class.
As long as the lessons are not overwhelming or too complicated. Recently I learned not to make topics too deep for my new students.
My last students were very smart and I could use topics that required a lot of thought, but this bunch is not too bright.
After much lesson, ppt planning, things are canceled without notice. This is the norm.
5 minutes unpaid overtime is too much unpaid overtime, especially when you try your best then realize that no one cares in the school you are working at.

My students appreciate my efforts. And prep is part job when it comes to teaching.

Yep, I will prep everything during office hours, but certainly not on my free time. My students are always the best in the school I am working at (each FT having his own class), but boss wants me to "play more funny games" and "tell more funny jokes" because he couldn't care less about education, some of my students even called him an idiot.

Haha. That's what my boss says. It's the alchemy of getting the funny jokes/funny games to actual teaching ratio just right.
