Q: I wanna go to Japan to work, any advice? Any website like this but for Japan?

I'm  tired of China, this has been to difficult for me. The pollution it's just higher that what I'm ready to accept.

I wanna ask you guys to help me on this new adventure I wanna make. How much money do you think I need to live one month in Tokyo? I wanna find a job there but I'm sure I will need some time before I get one. Also, are the visas easy to get? Do I have to leave the country?

If you know a good website like this but for Japan I would really thank you if you can tell me Smile!!!

PD:I'm spanish Wink!

Yeah go to the website GenkiEnglish.com.......there you can find opportunities to teach in Japan. You can learn some japanese off that website as well and they have free printouts!

Depending on what country you are from and under the age of 30 you can apply for a working holiday visa for Japan which I recommend if you can get it.

Countries like Canada, Australia, UK, NZ that I know of can get it but a few other can to.

Cash wise Japan is expensive in all ways from rent, to shopping so your savings that you have will vanish quite quickly if you dont get a job in a few months. Visa requirements are very strict no degree no work visa and they do checks on your background.

Aside from all that Japan is a great place to live and work and highly recommend it.

I love you.

This answer made me happy for the rest of the week, it looks that it's pretty easy to get there *O*!!!!

I'm 22 (with degree!) and I can bring there 2.500€(~300.000Y) in savings. Will it be enough to survive one month? Of course, I'm going o look for a job from the first day, but it's just in case it takes longer than what I want.

No worries. I recommend travel around Japan a little bit as each city is different. I wouldn't recommend Tokyo as a city to reside in just due to the size and pace, but try other cities like Osaka, Sapparro to name a few. I know winter just ended but in the mountains of Japan a new expat job boom is happening with working in the ski resorts for a few months of the year.

Your cash should be sufficient just be careful as always with savings when you havent landed a job yet.

Grimya. I just did a check on what countries can get a Japanese working holiday visa and unfortunately Spain is not one of them. But never mind still check out Japan and a job will find you. Another expat boom job in Japan is fitness so check them out and recommend trying to find a Japanese rugby club who have got the $$$$ to give away.

Japan is a crazy place. If you can stay away from shady convenience stores where middle aged fat guys are whacking off to some of the filthiest hentai known to mankind, you'll be fine.
