Today I was at a store and decided to buy a doll for a friends daughter back home. Well, when I asked how much, the "laoban" told me she was not for sale.  Well, I tried two more and they too were not for sale, display only.  However, the ones she tried to sell me were poorly made.....

went to a supermarket in hohhot, i saw them grounding up beef so i wanted to buy the beef that was freshly grounded and not frozen. i picked up one of the packaged ground beef that already had a price tag on it but the lady told me not to take it. my friend translated that it needs to be frozen before it is sold.
