I have a sponsor for US work Visa and am asking what kind of factors determine the eligibiity of a PRC citzen to obtain a work visa for the US. What can we expect the day of the visa interview? Is it necessarily easier than obtaining a tourist one? Any other details from previous trials can truly help. Again this is for a temporary, nonimmigrant work visa.

Tell the truth on all forms and in the interview. They WILL check and there government departments who proactively go after people who been found to have lied on their application and those who are working without the correct permit. These departments are not like the Chinese Keystone Cops. They are thorough, motivated, well funded and networked with all the other agencies concerned.
The face to face is nothing to worry about. My wife fretted for weeks and laughed about how easy and quick it was later. You write very well, better than most native speakers, so I assume your English is pretty good too
Don't sweat it. Good luck and have fun!!
Hey Admin Cat...why don't you make a mobile friendly page too?

Get Nokia . iWolf sucks...I mean 'iPhone sucks!'. I'll never master English.....
iWolf:
Correct, I suck but my phone blows goats on this website. A mobile-friendly choice would be nice....and very simple to do at negligible cost.

I am not really fan of phones! any phones, so I got Nokia. Yeah, but many posters here use phones for posting.
We could maybe volunteer our jackets for the cause/cost off....

My phone updated to windows 10 last night. This site still works ok. Although the coment box jumps about a bit in portrait mode. Are you talking about tap-a-talk style apps? I don't think this forum format would migrate to such an app. I have never seen another forum format like ecc. The format is one of the reasons I like this site.
