Q: Is it easy for Chinese to travel to other countries in South East Asia?

Is it easy for Chinese to get visas to countries like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Burma etc.?

Really easy for Chinese to travel to Asian countries. They usually use a travel agency and they never have to stay with the group

are you the guy who keeps calling Myanmar Burma

coffaholic:

Only people who accept the previously corrupt poitical regime refer to it as Myanmar. If you read the Guardian or New York times you would see it referred to as Burma. But you obviously don't know that.

Jíliú.hé:

I know that but you call a country by its name plain and simple. I know about the killing fields the genocides and the lack of personal freedoms.  I know that it was considered a place where evil men fed there excess at the cost of human lives.  But it is still the name of the country names change with time we do not rewrite the history books so all the countries have the names we want, or pretend that calling a duck a swan makes any kind of difference   fact is fact. So call a country by its name if we tried that same crap with Africa you would not be able to name a single country, let alone with the rest of the world.

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
