Q: Is it possible for students to transfer majors once they've entered the Uni of their choice?

Which university students go to (and which major they can choose from) is often contingent on how well they did on their gaokao. My question is: once they enter said university, is it possible for them to transfer majors or faculties?

I teach at a technical/vocational college, not a university, but if a student has good enough grades, they can change majors. I hear that students rarely change majors, and I'm sure it's much more difficult to do so here than back home.

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
