Q: Is it possible to travel toTibet in January?

I'm going to have a rare free window of time to travel in January and would love to go to Tibet as it's always been a place I wanted to visit. However, January will be freezing cold so I don't know how wise it is to go there then. Has anyone been to Tibet in winter? Is it possible to go?

Pretty sure you could go although I haven't been there before. I don't plan to go there. BTW I'm going to Japan before the end of the year in about a month or whenever they have that holiday in China.....

Average temperature in January is -2. That's warmer than my homecountry.

Last January I went to Tibet via amazingchina ,it was very good.You can contact them and they will plan a good trip for you
