Q: Looking for Chinese news sites/blogs/time wasters

When Chinasmack died it left a hole in my day I haven't been able to adequately fill. Shanghaiist tries, but frankly it's not very good.

I'm looking for Chinese focused sites. They can be either serious or more light hearted. Anybody got any good recommendations?

Yeah I really liked Chinasmack too.

As far as I know nothing has came to take its place, but there is a reddit page I follow that has a  lot of interesting stuff.

I've started wasting a lot of time/reading on R/China. some of the linked pages are also decent reading at times. For the teachers here there's also R/TEFL
