You can go to any supermarket and get plain yogurt, I personally think it is fairly close, but not exactly the same...

No, the 无糖 (sugar-free) yogurt here just isn't the same. You can get authentic tasting natural yogurt in Beijing's import stores like Jenny Lou's and April Gourmet. They even sell a Chinese brand for about 7-8 kuai for a massive pot of set natural yogurt. I think in smaller cities though, it'll almost be impossible to find.

Nothing in China is exactly the same.

Everything in China is with Chinese characteristics, even McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc.

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
