I am looking for children books in French, here in Shanghai.

I'm really sure there are none. Go to a big bookstore if you are lucky you may find one or two. I was luckily enough to find a few Spanish ones in Xi'an but languages other than English are few and far between.

All books also have an ID (ISBN) number. So if you search on the Internet for a book you would like you could get the ID number and ask the bookstore to order it for you. It's worth a try.

Miss DSV is correct. This is the only French bookstore in all of Shanghai and it is relatively new.
