Q: is there a region in china, where it is acceptable to have more than 1 wife?
I know 2 is not a good idea...... they can gang up on you... but 3 is good .... always have 1 on your side of an argument.

No where in China or other country (Except Muslim) it is possible.

Wrong, Vietnam allows as many wives as you can support, legally with marriage certificates issued. The driver of my tour bus told us he had 14 wives. SOMETIMES i CAN'T PUT UP EVEN WITH ONE, i CAN NOT SEE MYSELF WITH 14 !.

Comes down to basic biology and the need for survival - one man can father many children, so logically and biologically it makes sense for the strongest male to have many females to continue the species.
Yes. In the West... Xinjiang and Tibet.
It's illegal but... it's tolerated in some areas in the west of China... mainly for ethnic minorities.

Nah, I highly doubt that it is. All the places in China are in the same time zone. Plus, have you seen how selfish some people are. If a guy married two women at the same time you know how much trouble it would be. Jealousy of the other girl for the man showing more affection than the other will surely bring a divorce anyways..
I was talking to a Nigerian on a plane and he told me he had 3 wives, and I said that could be hot , but how do you get 3 women to live together without killing each other?. The answer is each wife has her own home. He was getting 2 more wives and then stopping. Now I can see this setup, two women in bed might seem like a great fantasy, but really it's not that great. Having multiple wives living in different homes would give you some place to go and have one wife glad to see you,,, for awhile..some times,,, or just a place to hide from the others.

forgot the ethnic minority or region but this group the woman has the power , she can pick a man and if tired of him , throw him out for another one, the child stays with the woman and the woman owns the property, the men prove their worth by bedroom skills and working hard , if you become lazy the woman swaps you for another man or two at a time if she wishes.
if she wants you to sleep outside and only provide bedroom exercise then thats the law in the tribe. my chinese wife told me it provided better stability and harmony,
of course i disagreed in my head , but kept my mouth shut, baby its cold outside.

Mosuo people, around Lugu lake. The women there are very outspoken, not exactly shy. Back in 2006, people where bathing naked in the lake, and would salute the occasional trekker while bathing. The chants of monks came out of a temple on the South side hill. Water was transparent up to 10 meter deep. It was peaceful and clean. Also, a road and a street of cookie-cutter wooden houses was under construction. I was told that now, the lake was not so clean anymore.
Hehe... When any Chinese talk with me about Marriage, they always ask that is it allowed to have many wives in India ?
I even never knew it when I was in India and I am Indian. bcz it's illegal and it's not allowed.
But after heard many times in China, I checked and then I knew that Muslim people allowed to have 4 wives by law. so that is why they all think it is allowed in India for everyone.
But had to say each one that I am not Muslim so it is not allowed in our culture.
Legal or illegal , how girlfriends the husband got outside, it sum up same as having numerous partners.
in western countries where it's illegal guys got girls out, in the countries where it's legal the guys make the girls become their wives.
so what's the best infidelity or fidelity to many wives?
Dealing with one MIL is already such a ARRRGGGHHHHH headache. Why would you want two, three or more?
