Q: Weekend in Tianjin! What to do? What to eat? What to see?

So I checked the previous questions (don't even try me with your flashlight jokes guys), and there is nothing out there that is recent enough.

I am going to Tianjin for the weekend.

What should I do, eat, see?

I have been once before and was a little bit... underwhelmed. But again, this was nearly 3 years ago now.

I have lived in Tianjin for a long time. I guess the lack of answers answered your question. It is a very dull city. The night life is ok. There are a few good restaurants. There is nothing of great interest really. Out of curiosity what did you do? It will be helpful for the next person who searches Tianjin?

I ended up going to the porcelain house, ate a lot of baozi, and got very drunk at a random restaurant with some local hairdressers and then went to KFC.
