Q: What about chinese?Any preferences regarding the province they come from?
i personally don't get so much along with people from jiangsu and zhejiang, and that includes shanghainese...
If you ask the Chinese themselves, then it doesn't matter where people are from, all are nice people, provided they are from the same province as the person you're asking..... and the same city and preferably the same street.
Most people from Xinjiang are terrorists as we all know, but luckily you can easily discern them since they all look like foreigners.
More seriously, I feel the poorer the people are, the more pleasant. I passed through Wenzhou once and it has engraved itself in my mind as an example of how wealth corrupts humanity. And it is in Zhejiang, which has a long history of being richer than other provinces.
