I get these questions about China from a lot of people when I go home:
1)Does everyone eat dogs?
2)Is everyone really short?
3) Is everyone super brainwashed?
Does anyone ask weird questions
1) Are Chinese yellow? No, they are white or brown.
2) Is dog part of the common Chinese diet? No, except for some very few places.
3) Are every Chinese good at martial arts? No, they are good at having beer/baijiu bellies.
4) Is the government spying on you? No, but the common people have no respect for privacy.
5) Is everything super cheap in China? No, rents, electronics, cars and some other things are more expensive than here.
6) Are you for Tibet/Taiwan independence? I don't care.
Bonus: Are Chinese girls tighter? ... *staring at interlocutor Chinese style before making a joke about sex* (common question from male relatives back home)
Q: Are you glad to be home? reply if I was home I'd still be in China. Usually followed by silence.
Funny cause no one asks me any questions because nobody cares about my trip in China they've got their own lives back home.

Way too many Chinese in the US now a day. There is no need to ask me about China.
