Q: What are some good Chinese TV shows/movies?
I msotly like action and crime stuff.
My Chinese isn't great, so not something lightning fast.

i could recommend "mr. six" for action, saw in a theatre with the wife, english subtitles during spring festival, eye candy would be "lost in beijing" not approved by china but dvd copies and torrents have it everywhere, the taishan earthquake movie was good but dont remember the english name of the movie, classic movie "farewell my concubine was good", the main actor was gay and took a suicide dive from depression in hong kong but everybody loved the guy, forget his name but a good flick with a date.
Good chinese tv show.....lol. This is an oxymoron.
Unless you like Journey to the West, Running man, Daddy where are you going, that Fan Bingbing historical soap or voice of china. Not my cup of tea.
you know why there are no famous chinese movies, actors etc. in the western world? Because we just don't like any of their fake movies with bad animation and flyin people shit.
Seems all chinese actors known in the world are actually not from mainland as far as I know at least.
So no tv show thats worthwhile
