I had an interview today and I about to accept the job. It seems not bad, working hours around 23/25 and 10.000 yuans. have you worked before in this school? The problem is that I never taught kids of 6 years old, I just taught in high schools oral english.
I've never heard of this school. Is it new? Could you tell us more about this place such as location, how friendly was the staff to you, and how are the facilities? Do you get training before you start or will you get training during the time you will work there? Do you get paid vacations and are they open to letting you have time off?
You have to take all these questions into consideration when you want to state that a particular school is good or not. Once you find out all the information that you can about the school then we can talk. Right now I don't know much about Joy English except that you say they pay 10,000 rmb which isn't a bad start!
I remember you asking if you should accept working as an English teacher through an agent. Is it an agent that "helped" you though this new job? Seriously, 10000 RMB it sounds too good to be true for a non-native teacher. How did you made it? I'm all eyes and ears waiting for the secret of your success. Anyway, if you made it, congratulations. If it is through an agent, I sincerely wish you this to last.
Hi. I just search on internet and I found this job. It,s a big chain like Wall strett, Ef, etc, I didn,t do it with an agent. I sign contract stright with the school. When I start working they give us some training and every week we have to gather with the chinese teachers in order to prepair the classes. We have a bonus of 1000 yuans when we finish the contract and vacations just one week for christmas and the national chinese holidays.

Again, congratulations and make it work. Only this suggestion as a non-native English teacher: improve your English beyond your limits. You need to learn to put up with the Native ones. Be a good teacher, meaning respect the kids as human beings, be patient beyond your abilities and learn to teach them as much as you can with a smile on your face.
Joy School operates here. They don't seem to care who they employ and I say that without being derogatory to anybody employed there. I have met a few of the teachers here and they have no degree, no experience and some seem to be a little lost. 10,000 RMB is a darn good salary for a starter. They certainly don't pay that here. Each school is run by an owner and like any business, it is run in such a way that reflects the value of that individual. The owner here took all his staff to Korea for a holiday. Not bad. he also pays bonuses but also keeps a month's salary of the teacher in his safe just in case shit happens I guess. They use their own books and I haven't seen one so I can't comment. I didn't think they were all that reputable when I heard a lot of stories about them in my first 6 months here but I haven't heard a thing in 18 months so I assume all is well. They have plenty of students. Good luck with the contract.
